Leigh McQuillan

Personal Trainer

A little about me...

I am a fun-loving fitness enthusiast who wants to spread health and happiness in my community.  I grew up playing basketball, softball, and cheerleading. Along with those came some injuries as well as some coaching experiences. These experiences led me to pursue my love for fitness and to help others by utilizing my education and experiences to help others achieve their fitness goals!

I have a continuously expanding background in fitness and wellness.  I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2013 in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology focusing on fitness and wellness.  I took a year off and became an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer then decided I wanted to go back and get my Master’s degree in Sports Nutrition so that I could focus on the whole person and not just the physical training from Florida State University (I know, rival schools, BUT funny thing is, I’m an Alabama girl). My last semester at FSU I decided to head to Gulf Breeze for an internship at EXOS, Athletic Performance, where I was able to help in the coaching and training of athletes from all backgrounds. All of these experiences have helped me expand my knowledge as well as strengthen my passion for helping others achieve their goals. I believe all of life’s challenges are opportunities for growth to be the best you, you can be!
